Newton Hotel Festac

The food smells so good, and it tastes delicious too. It's a neat, hygienic place with no noise, so you can relax here. I don't think you'd have problems staying a few days. Thank you.

At least the room was cleaned up well, which I really appreciated. But in the royal suite the intercom didn't work, and the room felt stuffy. My wife had to keep the windows open until after 10 PM, when they finally turned on the AC. Management needs to deal with room maintenance.

The rooms were good, the power stayed on, and the staff were wonderful. What stood out most for me was the warm welcome, with prompt service too. The other three hotels I checked in that price range were a mess. Just watch out for a VERY FAIR, HUGE, BEAUTIFUL LOOKING woman. Lemme come and be going.

I changed rooms twice. There was no network service in the first two, and both bathrooms were untidy. In the next room, flushing sent water from the toilet onto the bathroom floor. When I reported it, they seemed surprised. The building also alternates generator use, so the AC cuts out and you get hot, while the rooms aren't ventilated well enough without it. The rooms need major repairs, and the staff felt indifferent, more interested in finding ways to ask for money. They didn't provide a towel or soap until I asked. I'd call the stay just OK.
