I liked what I found when I came to the hotel for training. What I experienced wasn’t what I’d heard before, so maybe standards have improved after complaints. The rooms and toilets were okay, and the service was good. The one thing I really disliked was the noise, even late at night. I’m sure it wasn’t customers making it, so perhaps it was managers or hotel staff. They could improve on that.

It’s a low-budget hotel, and the water isn’t clean. That’s the only problem.

It was very pocket friendly, but I barely slept for three hours and left early the next morning for another hotel. A medium-sized rat was staring at me when I arrived, like it was welcoming me to its humble abode 😂. The bathroom wasn’t good, and twice I spotted a strange little ant on the bed. If you want hot water, you have to bathe before 6am. The air freshener smelled weird, almost like formalin 😂, so I went out that night to buy my own. There should be a difference between a hotel and a guest house.

I came here to rest and clear my head after Lagos traffic, and get a bit of work done. The generator noise was understandable, but the housekeepers kept disturbing people as they worked or walked through the corridors. The building needs renovation, and the staff need training. I also wonder which hotel still uses keys for the locks. The night security man was rude to me. I couldn’t get his name, but he was a bit tall and may have been on duty around August 8th. The fair receptionist has been rude to me twice, acting aggressive with customers and coming across as unprofessional and disrespectful. I don’t know whether she’s married. The dark receptionist is very nice. Management should take note, or that receptionist will drag the hotel through the mud. If things don’t change, I’ll get her name and come back to rant.

It’s a hotel living on past glory. The rooms and amenities are worn out, and the staff are something else. It might suit you if you need a short rest, but I wouldn’t choose it for a vacation.
