I had to wait around at reception while they tried to find a cleaner, and I was so tired I nearly fell asleep there. When I finally went back to the room, the dirty, stained bedsheet was still in place. I returned to complain, and they had to search for the cleaner again before the sheet was changed and I could get in. All that wasted time left me with a headache and no sleep. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff were courteous during my five-day stay, and both the room and bathroom were kept clean the whole time. I’d recommend the hotel.

The ambiance at Serena Hotel is great, and I have no complaint about the hotel itself. What disappointed me was how unwelcoming the staff seemed, especially the people who looked after my room. Their expressions and way of speaking made it seem as if they were being made to work. I hope the service improves before my next visit.
