My room was clean, and the sheets looked very clean too. I didn’t sleep on the bed, though it felt firm. The furniture was old and worn out. The hotel seemed disorganized: there were no instructions for the Wi-Fi, and the front desk had a rude boy dictate the password to me. He stayed behind me, which made me uncomfortable. When he showed me to my second-floor room, he kept insisting on carrying my backpack even after I clearly said no. The rooms and service felt like a one-star hotel.

It’s quiet and decent, and the staff are polite and willing to help. The location makes it easy to get food and travel to other parts of Lagos. I recommend it.

Avoid this hotel. They take your reservation payment, then give the room to whoever offers the highest price. When you arrive to check in, they make an excuse and offer a refund. That seems to be how they operate.

I usually don’t review places over small problems, but I really regret staying here. It felt more like a motel, and even basic things were missing: when we asked for cups and spoons, they said they didn’t have any and would have to look for spoons if we ordered food. We had guests over and our room was somewhat messy, so around midnight we asked the cleaner to tidy it while we went out. We tipped him, but he stole from the room, opening drawers and taking our things. He also took food we’d bought and set aside, including Pringles, popcorn, Sprite, and large unopened bottles of water. Stay away if you don’t want this kind of experience.

The restaurant service was good, and the customer service was great. My room smelled of cigarettes as soon as I checked in, so they need to improve ventilation between guests.
