Water Ripples

The staff were friendly and professional, especially the woman in the kitchen who made us delicious fresh fish. The rooms could use a few finishing touches, particularly the inside of the door. Window blinds might work better than the curtains they have now.

I came in because I was nearby, and like the reviews, the place didn’t impress me. There was no light in the main lobby, and we waited almost ten minutes for the customer service woman to arrive. She came strolling in without a uniform or even a greeting. It would be nice to get respectful service when you’re coming in ready to pay. Judging from these reviews, I don’t see the hotel lasting long.

The staff were fairly helpful and generally polite. The foyer and reception, though, smelled like a sewer, and the bar at the back was completely neglected. As for the clientele, I’d guess you could book rooms by the hour.

For water, they might send a bucket if you bother reception enough. You should bring your own electricity and water if you plan to stay, because you won’t be provided with either. They might turn on the generator at 8 or 9 p.m. for the strip club behind the hotel, but shut it off around 2 or 3 a.m. In the morning they say there was a power fault. Don’t bother lodging here, you’ll regret it. I promise.
