The surroundings were dirty and hectic, almost like a market. Inside, the rooms were dirty too, with old bedspreads, a worn and dirty towel, and grime in every corner. I had trouble choosing a room. Service was poor, check-in took nearly 30 minutes, and the receptionist looked dirty. I wouldn’t recommend visiting.

The car door issue on my way out summed up the management for me. Security said the porter had been asked to tell me that one of my car doors wasn’t properly closed, but the porter insisted he had told me. If I’d known, of course I would have secured it. I found that lack of honesty hard to accept, and I wouldn’t recommend this property. The room problems started earlier. They took payment before showing me a room, since I checked in late, and I suspect they knew I might refuse once I saw the condition. The first room was too dark because its bulbs were bad, so I turned it down. The second smelled damp, had weak AC, and no working water heater, so I refused that one too. I accepted the third after they promised to fix the heater or bring boiled water. After I asked repeatedly, a bucket of water arrived more than an hour later, and they didn’t give me a towel. Check-in itself took over 20 minutes. The room I was assigned was dirty, especially the bathroom, and several amenities were broken. Staff were rude and dishonest. I’d repeatedly asked whether the rooms’ water heaters worked, and they assured me everything did, but the heaters in all three rooms they showed me were broken.

The environment was really nice, but the swimming pool wasn’t clean.

I used to think this was one of the best hotels in Agungi, after staying here a few times long ago. This visit was awful. Mosquitoes made my life miserable, the water was very dirty, there was no internet, and the TV was old with a poor picture. They even charged me 500 just to microwave moi moi I bought for 300. The one good part was the kind, respectful light-skinned receptionist. I’ll never recommend this place.
