All Seasons Hotel Owerri

The manager has been there since my first visit, almost ten years before this recent stay, and I think that continuity helped keep the standard I remembered. She’s funny too. Staff were great, the hotel and my room were clean, and while the food was expensive, it was delicious. When I had a small WiFi problem, the manager sorted it quickly. I first stayed here in 2011 and enjoyed it, so returning for an engagement in Owerri last week felt like the obvious choice. Not much has changed, apart from the place showing its age. The cinema I liked before is gone and has been turned into something else. The manager said they’re building a bigger one on the property. Maybe because of Covid-19, the nightclub and outdoor bar weren’t operating, so during my seven days I mostly stayed in my room or went to the indoor bar, except when I had business in town. All seasons is a good place to stay, and I’ll come back when I’m in Owerri again.

The rooms are quiet, which matters to me, and the toilets are great. The room seemed clean enough, though it didn’t feel really spotless. Rooms are good, and management is quick and the service is good. I’d like to see more cuisines on the menu.

My last visit wasn’t a bad experience at all. The service was good.

The renovated rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel has come back to a good standard among the newer places in the area. It’s cozy and sits in a busy part of Owerri, close to popular evening and late-night spots. There’s a well-known nightclub and a sit-out entertainment bar and grill. Seems like a good weekend getaway.
