Immaculate Royal International Hotel

There’s no overnight room service. They say they’ve run out of food. Power cuts are constant, and the elevators don’t work, so good luck if you’re on the fourth floor. Staff lie about drink prices and overcharge, so check the pricing booklet. Be aware and stay away. There are better hotels around.

I’m worn out and just want to check out. The breakfast was meant to start at 0730, but it didn’t, and I waited in the lounge listening to other guests complain about how bad the hotel was. I also got trapped in a malfunctioning elevator. Staff did nothing after I told them. The electricity kept failing, and the generator didn’t kick in. The meals were poor, too.

The power kept cutting out, and since the generator doesn’t switch over automatically, we were left in total darkness several times a day, sometimes for long stretches. Service was awful. My husband and I were given only one towel to share. The room was supposed to come with a complimentary bottle of water and tea or coffee each day, but they never brought them unless asked. The shower splashed water out onto the floor, and after cleaning, it took several calls each day to get the floor mat replaced.

The reception was so welcoming, and the service was awesome. The hotel’s atmosphere is top notch, even better and higher than the former Immaculate. I’d love to come back.
