Juanita Hotel

The staff worked tirelessly to make me happy, and by the end I’d really enjoyed my two-day stay at this peaceful hotel, even though I wasn’t very impressed when I first arrived. The bed was comfortable, the pool was nice, and the ambience was pleasant apart from the back area. The drawbacks were old toilet seats and limited buffet variety. I’d recommend it.

The staff were courteous, and the hotel sits in a really peaceful spot. It’s an older property, but management has kept it in good shape. There’s a clean pool, a gym and a business centre. The food costs a bit more, though I thought it was worth it. Lovely place for the money.

I liked the ambience, pool and spacious parking, and the customer care and room service felt professional. But I had trouble with the room lock and the water a few times. With no elevator, I had to take the stairs to and from the third floor, and my knee and ankle still hurt. Three stars from me.

The rooms had enough furnishings and the air conditioning worked. Security was ample, and the staff were friendly throughout. I was there for a few nights on a business trip in December 2014, and enjoyed both the general dishes and local food. I still remember those delicious malt drinks five years later. A pleasant stay at Juanita Hotel.
