Norbeth Hotel

The Wi-Fi is great, and they switch over quickly when the power goes out. It’s a comfortable hotel with good amenities and tasty food. The towels are quite old and should be replaced. The duvet and cover cloth have also become dirty-white and need changing.

I never stayed there, and I won’t recommend it to anyone I know. There was a mix-up with my paid reservation, and the young woman at reception was rude, making an already bad situation worse. She told us they don’t allow cancellations or refunds, but we did eventually get the payment back. The customer service was very poor. I’d give minus 5 stars if I could. It seems I have to leave at least one star for this to post, and I don’t think they deserve it.

Norbeth didn’t make for an enjoyable stay. The rooms cost too much for what you get. At one point, the A/c wasn’t cooling, and they gave me a very dusty standing fan. I would’ve been better off with the hot air from the A/c. The towels were worn out, and the cold water tap in my room didn’t work. There’s no complimentary breakfast either.

The standard room was nice and cost N12,000 a night. Wi-Fi was free, though I didn’t use it. There was no complimentary water, beverage, or breakfast.
