A lovely place to unwind, set away from the main area but still an easy walk to the restaurants. Our room was great, with a really cool stone shower and a conch for the shower head. The owners are super friendly and nice. We didn’t eat there, though I heard the food is great. Rent a scooter and see the whole island.

I loved waking up surrounded by peaceful nature, with the room feeling like it was right over the sea. I watched sunsets from my balcony and found some decent snorkeling spots with lots of lovely fish just in front. I’ve been here for the past week and felt so relaxed and grateful. It’s rare to find this much peace and space in the Caribbean these days. The owners are lovely and helpful, and the dogs are adorable. Thanks, guys!

La princesa de la Isla is a lovely choice if you want a warm welcome and a great spot on Big Corn. The rooms are beautiful and the surroundings are peaceful. Definitely recommend it.

After our original booking turned out to be disappointing because of the hygiene, we walked along the beach looking for somewhere else and luckily found Princesa de la Isla. The dogs alerted the owners to us, and the two of them came out and quickly got a room ready for the night. The place feels heavenly. I spent several nights sitting on the beach and taking in the natural beauty. The hosts are friendly, the food is great, and the rooms are basic but clean.

This feels like paradise, easily the best place to stay and relax. Sitting down to enjoy what I think is the best Italian food in Nicaragua while watching a beautiful sunset was wonderful.
