Paraiso Beach Hotel

The staff were excellent, especially the women working there, who were so kind and helpful. We arranged an island scooter rental through the hotel, and they can also organize taxis to the airport. The beach bar serves food at the same good standard as the restaurant, where breakfast has several choices, plus hot tea and coffee. Dinner was okay, though vegetarian options were limited. We stayed five nights. The rooms were fine, with comfortable beds and good AC. There’s a nice spot to sit out front, though it’s not really suitable for swimming. The hotel’s location is handy, around a 15 to 20-minute walk from picnic Beach. We’d probably stay here again if we return to the islands. There’s also a great Italian restaurant up the street at la princessa de la isla. You’ll need reservations, but it’s worth it.

We were three in the family and had a clean, roomy place to stay. Paraiso’s location made it easy to go back and forth between our room and the beach, which we loved. Breakfast had a good range of options, and the front beach bar offered food as good as the main restaurant. We’ll definitely come back!

The included breakfast was awesome, and it starts at 6am, so it’s easy to eat before a morning flight. We stayed March 01 to 04 and had a really enjoyable time. The rooms were perfect, the AC was cold, and there was a hot shower. The owners were super friendly. I’d stay again. Rent a scooter and enjoy the island.

We loved our little apartment, especially with the AC working perfectly. Paraiso Beach Hotel has a great mix of luxury and a laid back feel, so planning the day takes hardly any effort. The staff made it easy to sort out a boat tour, motos, or snorkel gear. Capt. Kelshon took us on our tour and was awesome. We’ll absolutely be back.
