The manager didn’t stick to the prices in the booking and tried to add some strange taxes we hadn’t heard about beforehand.

The neighborhood felt very nice and safe, and the room was clean, small but pleasant, with excellent air conditioning. It’s run by a lovely family, which gives the place some charm, though it felt more like a hostel than a hotel. For the limited facilities and rather small room, it was quite pricey compared with nearby places. They charge cleaning separately, but didn’t clean during our stay. A cockroach showed up, though that was our own fault, so don’t leave food in the room.

It’s modest and peaceful, with owners who treated me with real kindness and warmth. The place feels special and authentic, though it isn’t luxurious or modern. The rooms and beds were very nice, and the price was fantastic for a traveler on a budget. It was a great choice for me, and I’d recommend it.

I agreed to pay $35 for a room with air conditioning and breakfast. In the morning, the owner, Winston, told me breakfast wasn’t included at that price and said I must have heard wrong. The hotel feels more like a hostel than anything else, and the price is high for what’s offered. Avoid it, there are better options for that price.
