Hotel il Padrino

Gaby and Toby were wonderful hosts, helping arrange tours and a shuttle to the airport. Milan, the 11 year old dalmation, was super friendly, as were Chad the grey cat and the orange and white cats. I love pets, so that made the visit even better. I spent three nights here and loved it. Breakfast was great each day, with three different options. The staff were great, too. The main square is a five minute walk, the water is twenty minutes away, and there are lots of restaurants within a ten minute walk. It made my trip to Nicaragua one to remember.

The rooms are basic but good for the price, and they all look out onto a narrow garden. The free hot breakfast was generous and excellent. The location is close to the main tourist areas, and the family who own the place were wonderful, making us feel at home and answering our questions about traveling around Nicaragua. We really enjoyed our stay.

We felt so looked after by the warm, lovely hosts. The place was spotless and charming, in a great location in Grenada, and having a kitchen was such a bonus. I get up early, so being able to make coffee and meditate was really nice. It felt like a home away from home. I'd give it ten stars if I could. Thanks for such a memorable stay, we'll definitely come back!

The staff were very nice, and there's hot water, plenty of books and board games, and a good breakfast. The place was very clean and cozy, and the location was excellent. Air conditioning and a few chairs on the porch would've been nice extras.
