Hotel la Estación Granada

As we got off the bus, they filmed us and took photos. It made me really uncomfortable. Apparently it was for promoting the hotel 🤷‍♀️

The laundry was awful. Our clothes came back damp and smelly, and they refused to refund us, so beware. The hotel was noisy with another group staying there, and it's quite a walk from town, at least 15-20 minutes. The room could use more power outlets near the beds for charging a phone or laptop, and the bathroom needs a fan because it steams up fast. I didn't want to leave the door open when sharing a room. There were no English TV channels, which is fine. The pool was being renovated, so I can't complain about that, but the outdoor garden area needed some work. This place could've been great, but those issues took it from four stars to three.

The staff were kind and the hotel was clean. I was traveling through Central America with the Intrepid Group, and this was our final stop. The rooms were simple and nice, with air conditioning. I especially liked the fluffy blanket, since some motels around Central America only provide a sheet.

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, though the hotel was quite a walk from Granada’s center. The pool water looked a bit dirty, and the pool area could use some tidying. One friend was woken during the night by the security guard’s phone alarm that kept going off. They had to get up and ask him to switch it off, and he was clearly asleep.
