Casa Todo Bueno

We had a great time again, and hope to see some familiar faces when we return next year. This was our third vacation here, and the best yet. My wife and I, active in our mid-60s, shared an ensuite bedroom in the house. The other bedroom went to a lovely gentleman from Austria, and we soon became friends and surfing buddies with him and a Czech woman in her 20s from another room. Along with Jon and Jenelle, we had a whole crew helping us with surfing tips. The two-kilometre beach had waves from gentle to intermediate, so we could challenge ourselves. The hosts helped with local travel arrangements and gave us restaurant advice, too. Having both an indoor and outdoor well-equipped kitchen was handy for quick breakfasts before the early waves. Everyone we met there had a great time.

It’s in a quiet part of town, but you can still get around on foot easily. I loved the beautiful garden, which is just right for unwinding. The owners are so friendly and welcoming that you feel at home straight away. Such a lovely, family-like guesthouse. Highly recommend!

If you want some privacy while surfing and would rather not stay in a hostel, Casa Todo Bueno has rooms with your own toilet and shower. The beach is very close, and the village centre is about a 10-minute walk away. There’s a shared kitchen and seating if you feel like meeting people. Jenelle and Jon are absolute sweethearts and ready to help with almost any wish. Surfboards are available to rent, and AC costs extra.

You can hear the waves day and night, which makes the place really relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable, too. The beach is less than a minute away, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk along it to the surf. Jon and Jenelle are wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful, with lots of shade, a pool, a rooftop patio, and a lounge with an outdoor kitchen.
