The saltwater pool was just right for cooling off after a hot day, and Rocco, the hotel dog, was adorable. The main courtyard and lobby also felt quiet and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay at La Islita hotel. Arnold was especially helpful with activity ideas and asking around to find us drivers at the best price. We’d definitely stay here again.

We came as a family of four, with two tweens, and stayed for four nights. The room was lovely, the pool was fabulous, and the staff were amazing. We especially liked the simple, gorgeous interior decor and the rooftop patio. The location worked perfectly, just off the Calle, where it felt quiet and private. This was the best hotel of our Nicaragua trip. We wished we’d stayed here and toured from this spot. We’d give it more stars if we could.

The staff are so helpful and friendly, and they made the stay that much better. The hotel is close to everything in Granada. It’s a great place, and I’ll definitely stay here again.

The rooftop terrace was my favorite, with amazing 360-degree views over Granada and the main downtown cathedral. Such a great spot in a beautiful city, and the location is amazing too.

We stayed here in 2012. The owners were pleasant and knew the area well, and were American expats. The service was friendly, and the rooms were very nice. A beautiful place to stay in Granada.
