Hotel Flor de Sarta

The pool was our favorite part, and it was cleaned every two days. We could spend plenty of time there. The hotel was also a good base in a pleasant, central area, and you can arrange trips at reception. A receptionist who spoke both English and Spanish was available around the clock. The air conditioning worked well, and breakfast was good, with a choice of Gallo Pinto with egg or pancakes. They have washing machines, which seemed to help keep the sheets and towels much cleaner than at other places we stayed. This was one of our favorite stops in Nicaragua.

We loved the room we were moved to, on the ground floor overlooking the beautiful pool. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. The traditional breakfast was another thing we enjoyed. We’d checked out this morning. The location made it easy to walk to the city center, a supermarket, an ATM and other places. The front desk staff were accommodating and gave us the information we needed. They also kept a couple of things I’d misplaced or left in the room. We did have a problem with our first room, but when we told them, they moved us without arguing or charging us.

There weren’t many guests because it was low season, so having the pool to ourselves made the stay even nicer. The location was great, the rooms were pleasant, and breakfast was included and good. The staff were friendly and spoke English really well.

The staff made the stay wonderful, and the rooms were clean. We were visiting León for the first time, coming from the States, and the location worked out perfectly. Our room was spacious and had a little private outdoor area. Breakfast was amazing and a great way to start the day. It felt like a safe area, too. I’d highly recommend this place.
