The beach is pristine and almost completely empty, and the food was really good. Stacy and the staff are kind and caring, and they do their best to make the stay enjoyable. Just be ready for how remote northern Nicaragua is: things are basic, with cold water and insects, so you need to be adaptable. Go in with an open mind and it can be a really special, unforgettable experience.

The quiet was lovely, and I could still use the wifi when I wanted :). We also enjoyed the fresh fish and vegetables. Redwood sits right on the beach, so we could see the waves from our window and walk straight out to surf. It was great for bird watching too, and Stacey and the whole staff were great.

The meals were all delicious, and the staff were just the sweetest. Our beachfront room had AC, a comfy bed, and a spacious bathroom. Stacy and Mike welcomed us so warmly when we arrived. We had a wonderful time at Redwood Beach Resort and will definitely be back!!

The beach is lovely for long walks and looking for shells, and you can drive along Nicaragua's best "road." We had a wonderful return visit to Redwood Beach last weekend, this time bringing friends to introduce them to the resort. It was great to reconnect with old and new friends in such a beautiful place. As always, Mike and Stacy and their staff did everything they could to make our visit spectacular, and the food was top notch.

We came for the uncrowded surf and miles of secluded beach, and found complete relaxation. The accommodations were comfortable, the place felt private and safe, and the food was delicious. Stacy, the owner, was like our own personal concierge and made sure we had an amazing experience. Francis prepared delicious meals, while Ramon kept the beautiful grounds with a smile. Loved the hammock on our porch and eating outdoors.
