Casa Nära Hotel

We felt right at home at Casa Nära. The staff were kind and helpful, including with rides into San Juan del Sur and ordering from local restaurants. The place is peaceful, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Playa Remanso is quiet and uncrowded. The waves and warm water were great, and the sunsets were beautiful. We liked watching surfers take lessons and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. For a special lunch or dinner, San Juan del Sur is only about 10 minutes away. The kids had fun in the pool, especially with its terrace design, while we spent time on our room terrace and enjoyed the mountain view. Our mornings started with beach walks and breakfast cooked by Doña Damaris. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with lovely details and traditional Nicaraguan materials. It was a special stay, and we really appreciated the service and tranquil setting.

We had a really relaxing family stay at Casa Nara. The property feels quiet and private, a nice place to disconnect and recharge. Our spacious room was beautifully put together, and the beds were so comfortable that we all slept well. Everyone on staff was welcoming and made us feel at home. The beach is less than half a block away, and San Juan del Sur is about 15 minutes by car, so it was easy to get into town while still having a peaceful spot to come back to. We left feeling refreshed and grateful. We loved our time here and can’t wait to return.

We came with a senior and a toddler, and all of us had a blast. It’s calm and beautiful, just like the pictures, with the beach a two minute walk away. Breakfast was included and delicious, and the staff were super friendly, kind, and helpful. Great for working remotely or just unwinding with family.

A cozy, brand new hotel about 50 meters from the beach. It has six rooms, so it seems well suited to groups traveling together, surfers, families, or friends. They’re in a soft opening for now and were planning to be fully operational in November 2025.
