Parking on site was good, and the location in town was quiet. Breakfast was included, though basic, and the air conditioning was strong. Hot water had good pressure too. For $74 USD, three people stayed in a room with cobwebs, a dirty floor, and a bed that was uncomfortably hard. Wi-Fi in our second-floor corner room was weak and came and went. The shower drain was plugged, and the sheet on the large bed barely covered two people.

The Nicaraguan-style breakfast was filling and just right, with coffee ready before the meal. There’s plenty of secure parking and security around the clock. It’s a simple, nice place, set back from the beach by about 300 meters, though I’m only guessing at the distance. If you want lots of nighttime noise while you’re trying to sleep, this probably isn’t the spot for you.

The beach is only three blocks away, so the location made it easy to get around on foot. We found the place peaceful and secure, and the service was excellent. I’d definitely recommend staying here with family or friends. Enjoy your vacation in San Juan del Sur.

Right in the city center, which was the best part for me. The rooms have air conditioning and breakfast is included, though, as seems usual everywhere in Nicaragua, they didn’t provide water. There’s no pool, and with no chairs on the beach and swimming there not especially appealing, a pool would be welcome. I took off stars because of a dirty towel: I left it on the floor to be changed, but it was folded and put back on my bed with the same dirt still on it.
