The hotel is in a very central location, and the staff were attentive to what we needed. Since our flight was late, they let us stay two extra hours at no extra cost. That was appreciated. But the rest of our experience was bad, and I can’t recommend it. Amsterdam has plenty of centrally located hotels, even three-star ones, that look much better. We booked a deluxe room and got something that felt below three stars. The website says deluxe rooms come with a balcony, but when we arrived, they said they couldn’t guarantee one. That feels like misleading customers. I dread to think what the standard rooms are like. The room was tiny, had no air conditioning, and the walls were peeling like something from a horror movie. The lighting was so weak we had to use our phone flash to see. The hallways and room smelled bad. The reception also wasn’t staffed around the clock, only from 8:00 to 23:00. Cleaning meant making the bed. They didn’t take out the trash, clean the room, or use a fragrance spray. Everything from the bathroom to the bedroom felt ruined or broken. The place needs a serious renovation. Don’t trust the pictures, there’s no way this is a four-star hotel. It’s really a hostel.

I loved choosing Amadi Park and would definitely stay again on another trip to Amsterdam. The staff were great and accommodating, the tram stop was just a couple of minutes away, and there were lovely local restaurants, markets, and more nearby. I’m not sure why some reviews are so poor. This hotel was excellent, and I’m grateful to the staff for everything. ⭐️

The location was great and the customer service was good. Our bed was comfortable, and for the price the stay was okay, but the room was pretty run down and badly needs updating. The lights were so dim the whole room felt dark. The hair dryer, bathroom mirror light, and dehumidifier didn’t work, and the air conditioning didn’t do anything. Ventilation wasn’t great either, and the sink clogged very quickly.

The biggest problem was how unprofessionally complaints were handled. They weren’t taken seriously or resolved. The worn carpet, crooked television, reading lamp with no bulb, dried coffee grounds on the table, dirty windows with faulty mechanisms, and peeling wallpaper were all apparent as soon as I entered. This hotel does not meet a four-star standard. Absolutely not recommended.

We stayed for eight days, and our room didn’t initially suit our family setup. The manager quickly arranged a better one that worked perfectly for us. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, always cheerful when helping with whatever we needed. His kindness, professionalism, and hospitality made a real difference. The central location, cleanliness, atmosphere, and staff all added to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I don’t hand out five-star reviews easily, but this one was a no-brainer. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
