Amnesia Apartment

I don’t smoke, but we felt very welcome here. It’s a super chilled place to sit and chat. We ordered coffee and a couple of soft drinks, plus two batches of mini pancakes, just normal tasty snacks, not loaded. You can’t smoke tobacco in the shop, and you shouldn’t use your phone. It’s a place to talk with each other and enjoy some good old personal interaction. Highly recommend for a mixed group of users and non-users.

Rob and his colleague from Italy, whose name we sadly didn’t catch, were incredible. Honestly, the staff are amazing every time I come. Treat them politely and with respect, and they’ll welcome you and look after you just the same. Barney’s and the company should be incredibly proud of their staff. Claims that the staff are rude seem unlikely to me, and perhaps the person’s etiquette was lacking. Love you, amnesia, we’ll be back ❤️

The music playlist gives the place a really relaxing vibe, and the service is very friendly. There’s a variety of exquisite products available. Animal documentaries would be the one thing that could make it even better.

I stopped by around 11 am on 6.8.2025, and so far this is the best coffee shop in amsterdam. Great prices, wonderful music, and the weed tasted fantastic. Two great guys were serving. They were polite, welcoming, and relaxed. One showed the buds under small table lights, and a touchscreen on the counter had information on every strain they sold. He’d answer questions and explain things before I chose anything. They lent out grinders and gave away pre-rolled papers, too. The other guy, who was Japanese, served me coffee with a bow and respect, and made the best decorative waffles I’ve had in amsterdam. They were kind enough to let me take a picture of my waffle and coffee, as long as I didn’t photograph anyone inside the coffee shop. 11/10, I’d recommend visiting!
