The staff made us feel so welcome, from reception to the breakfast team. Everyone was incredibly friendly and sweet, especially with our children. Breakfast was delicious and had lots to choose from, including great vegan options, which we really appreciated. We also loved the rooms’ original, creative design. It’s a fun, cozy change from the usual hotel room. The location is perfect, right beside Museumplein and within walking distance of the main museums. The Heineken Experience and Bols Cocktail Experience are nearby too, making it a great base for exploring Amsterdam. We really enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast was lovely, especially the mini pancakes, they were soooo good. The hotel was also in a very quiet location. We had a wonderful stay and would come back. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, a good size, modern and beautiful, with all the amenities we needed. It even had a little sofa.

The gym was a real highlight for me. It was exceptionally well equipped and a pleasure to use, and the location right in the heart of Amsterdam couldn’t be beat. My partner and I had a smooth, enjoyable stay at Avani Amsterdam and would happily return. Everything went seamlessly from check-in to check-out. The reception team were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and when we had a small issue in our room, they took care of it immediately and with great care. I can only recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely canal view from the hotel. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the museums, and there are plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants close by. The hotel is very well appointed, with friendly staff and great service.

IRENE at reception was so attentive and caring throughout our stay. She treated us kindly the whole time and made the visit so enjoyable. It’s lovely to know the staff really care about their guests. What an amazing hotel, I can only recommend it!
