B&B Roeloft Amsterdam

The light colors in the renovated rooms work much better for us than the old dark look, and the bed was just right, not too hard or soft. We also really liked the double shower. The room scent you can choose at check-in and the quiet feel throughout the building added to a calm atmosphere. We had a lovely stay at The College Hotel. It wasn't perfect. A small electrical issue left the bathroom lights out in the morning. The staff owned the problem and handled it so well, with clear communication and thoughtful little cards. They fixed it, kept us updated, and compensated us. Arif at reception, Irene in housekeeping, Robert from technical service, the breakfast team, the proactive trainees, everyone we encountered across the hotel did their part. Their service showed that trying your best for guests matters more than chasing perfection. We highly recommend The College Hotel. It's one of our favorite places to stay in Europe!

We were in town for Metstrade at the RAI Exhibition Centre, and this hotel was ideally placed between there and central Amsterdam. It was convenient without losing its charm or atmosphere. Breakfast was a great choice. The food was genuinely five-star, with anything from the menu available each morning, whether a full English breakfast, yogurt bowl, or continental option. Everything was delicious. The rooms were stunning, with especially comfortable beds and beautifully designed bathrooms. The staff were polite, fluent in English, professional and warm, and never too serious. They made us feel welcome throughout. Our whole stay at The College Hotel was brilliant. I'd return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

Marc, the hotel manager, made a real difference to our stay. He shared great dining suggestions, hidden spots to explore, and ways to experience the city like a local. His personal touch and hospitality added a lot to our trip. The College Hotel is a beautiful property, with art throughout and a lovely mix of luxury, comfort, and character. The atmosphere felt elegant yet welcoming as soon as we arrived, and our well-designed, very comfortable room was a great place to unwind after exploring Amsterdam. For an artsy stay with strong service and authentic Amsterdam character, this is a great choice. Highly recommended!
