There was a working fridge and safe, and downstairs there's a shared room with cups, a kettle, a coffee machine, and space to make drinks or wash up. The room was clean but very basic. Despite being advertised as a suite, it was just one room, with no table or desk, cups or glasses, or way to make a hot drink. The shower was curtained off in an alcove in the room rather than in a separate bathroom, and the sink drained very slowly.

There was room for all six of us, and the living room was a nice extra for the price. The apartment was spacious, clean, well equipped, and in a quiet neighborhood. It was only a few minutes' walk into town or to the museums.

Max answered our questions quickly before we arrived, which gave us confidence about the stay. The accommodation was spacious, practical, well designed, and well maintained, and we had a great time. The location was wonderful too. We plan to come back.

The booking and getting into the apartment with the code they sent us both went smoothly. It was modern and had plenty of space for our family of four. The Jordaan location was perfect, in one of Amsterdam's most authentic areas. We could walk to lots of activities, restaurants, and supermarkets, and the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum were about a five-minute walk away. The only change I'd have made was the temperature. Amsterdam was a little chilly, and we couldn't adjust the thermostat as much as we wanted. The stairs up to the apartment are steep, so pack light. I'd also suggest booking on the first floor to cut down on the stairs. Our family absolutely loved staying at Marnix 360 Apartments, and I'd definitely recommend them.
