Hyatt Regency Amsterdam

We enjoyed the spa, the breakfast had lots of variety, and our room was really comfortable. There was a small reservation problem, but Ismaele sorted it out quickly and professionally. He was very helpful, and you can tell he cares about guests and how their stay goes. We'd happily return.

We were comfortable in our clean, tidy room, and the staff were always friendly and ready to help. The hotel made the visit memorable. Its location was handy too, with good local food around and access to the dart/metro.

The gym and spa were standouts for me, with great equipment and a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel also has enjoyable dining, with good food and a welcoming feel. Staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and professional. My room was clean, nicely designed, and had a modern, sleek look. The location is a little away from the busiest city spots, but still convenient if you're okay with walking and want a quieter neighborhood. I had a wonderful stay and would come back.

We came to the Hyatt Recency in Amsterdam for my birthday, and Joyce and Rosanna took such good care of us. Everyone was friendly and polite, but those two made the stay feel especially special. The rooms were clean and spacious, with plenty of storage, good amenities, comfortable beds, and a shower with strong pressure. Breakfast had a huge range of choices, including Indonesian dishes, breads and pastries, fruit, juices, ham and cheese, salads, yogurt, cereal, and hot food such as eggs and made-to-order omelettes. They had cute waffle cones for the jams, honey, and sauces, and mimosas were included. The dining room was spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The spa and gym are nice to have, though the spa isn't large and there's only one treatment room, so book ahead for a massage or facial. There's a supermarket right across from the hotel. It's fairly central, about a 10-minute taxi ride from the station, though museums and shops still take a bit of a walk. We didn't mind, since Amsterdam is lovely to explore on foot. Online check-in didn't save any time, as we still had to complete the whole process in person. Booking by phone was easy and cheaper than online, but there was confusion about the deposit that the hotel couldn't resolve. I've been to Amsterdam several times and had great stays elsewhere too, but I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
