The decor has a cool feel, and the staff were terrific, friendly, and always helpful. Central Station is about a 15-minute walk, while the museums are only five minutes away. There are lots of coffeeshops around, including one just around the corner; across the bridge, there are restaurants, bars, and about five good coffeeshops. A brilliant stay, five stars.

For what we paid, I was really happy with the hotel. It’s in a great location, the room was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hallway carpet could use some maintenance, though, and the walls are thin enough that the neighbours beside us told us to keep the noise down.

The bar was awesome, the room was great, and the location was excellent. The people were the best part. We had a great two-night stay and hope to come back soon. Thanks, Damiet, Vince, and Asia. You’re all fantastic!

You can walk to everything worth seeing from here. The room was nice, the crew friendly, and breakfast was good. The music theme gives the place its own feel. It’s right in the city centre, but away from the busiest areas. Thanks!

There are plenty of little restaurants nearby, and Albert Heijn is about a block away. The main entrance is on the canal side, in the museum district. It felt like a safe area, though you do have to buzz to get in; after checking in, we got a key fob for the front door and our room. There’s no elevator and the stairs are steep, which seems pretty normal for Amsterdam. The hotel has lots of character, clean rooms, and very friendly staff. It’s family friendly too. Make sure you get a shirt!
