Barangay B&B

We really enjoyed much of our stay and the neighborhood. My daughter and I spent three nights here at the beginning of our vacation, choosing the B&B for its location and the chance to stay in an older Amsterdam home. A few things to know: breakfast wasn't provided, just packaged snacks, and guests can still use the kitchen but no longer the sitting area shown in the photos. The bathtub in the back bedroom bathroom was marked as unavailable, which was disappointing after a long flight.

The hosts made the stay feel personal, with local suggestions, a welcome basket of snacks and bubbels, and friendly conversation. Their warmth and care are what I'll remember most. B&B Barangay was also a comfortable, clean place to spend a weekend. The rooms were nicely furnished, and the decor gave the whole bed and breakfast a cosy, tropical feel. I left feeling really grateful for the kindness and care that went into the place. It's a lovely find in the heart of Amsterdam, and I can't wait to come back.

The room looked lovely with its tropical style, and it had plenty of snacks. It faced the garden, so it was quiet, and the bathroom had lots of space and a big shower with a rainfall head. We found plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the train station was about a 15-minute walk away. The hosts were so friendly, helpful, and easy to reach, especially when a cancelled flight meant we arrived a day late. My husband and I would recommend staying here in Amsterdam.

The location made it easy to get to the shops, bars, cafes, and main train station. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the well considered idea behind the place. The rooms and shared kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were just lovely. In a busy tourist city like Amsterdam, this felt like a real B&B run by people who care.
