De Durgerdam Amsterdam

The views and location are breathtaking, and the interior has a timeless, refined feel. Staff were lovely and the service was spot on, with good food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great way to enjoy an oasis of beauty alongside the buzzing craziness of Amsterdam city. A must visit.

We liked it so much that we extended our stay. The hotel is peaceful and comfortable, with a friendly atmosphere that made it feel like home. That quiet, plus the lovely water view, turned out to be a big part of the charm, even though it's outside the city. Getting to the busy center was an easy 10-15 minute Uber ride. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, especially the tomato tartare, and breakfast was absolutely yummy too. It's a place where you can slow down and relax. We'll definitely be back.

A great getaway. The boutique hotel has a subtle, classic kind of luxury, and the local village is peaceful to wander around. De Mark downstairs serves delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We left feeling rested and already keen to return with friends or family. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and both dinner and breakfast lived up to the high standard. Dinner came with attentive service, very good food, and lovely presentation. Breakfast had everything you might want. Our room was quiet, beautiful, and comfortable, with a great bed, cushions, lighting, and soft music creating a relaxed, luxurious feel. It was apartment-like, with its own separate entrance, so we didn't hear other guests. The warm welcome was clear as soon as we walked in. There's a terrace by the water. It was too cold for us to sit outside, but I can imagine enjoying a meal or drink there on a warmer day when it's open. I highly recommend staying here or just having lunch or dinner at the restaurant.
