Element by Marriott Amsterdam

We ended up here for one night after being moved by mistake, and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and roomy, with everything we needed, plus free coffee throughout. The restaurant area was nice too, and the staff were very helpful. We’d choose it ourselves next time.

The room was spotless, down to the bins and every surface, and the huge bed was fantastic. I stay in hotels often, and this was a genuinely great experience. The air conditioning worked properly rather than relying on an underpowered central system. Staff were warm everywhere, even in the elevator, and we had easy chats and laughs at check-in and checkout. Overnight parking costs 20 euros, just remember to ask at the front desk. The rates seemed fair, and this felt worth every euro.

We’d happily stay again. The suites are comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped for either a short visit or a longer stay. Breakfast is a little basic, though having the mall and groceries so close meant it wasn’t a problem.

Andreina made our visit especially memorable. She took time to show us maps, offer thoughtful suggestions, and point us toward local neighborhoods we might have missed. The whole Element Amsterdam team made my friend and me feel welcome and cared for. We found the hotel inside a beautiful high-end mall, with a grocery store where I could pick up things I’d forgotten. It’s walkable, with easy access to the Central Train Station and nearby neighborhoods. I’d gladly stay here again.
