Hotel Sint Nicolaas

We had to cancel our October trip when our dog got sick, even though the room was non-refundable, but the hotel let us move the booking to another date. Once we arrived, everything was lovely. The building is beautiful inside and out, and the location is brilliant, close to Centraal Station. We stayed in room 43 at the top and front of the hotel, and the bed was super comfortable. There’s an iPad in the room for internet access, a great idea. Breakfast was included and very good. I’m coeliac and lactose intolerant, and they looked after me well. The Lavazza coffee machine also has oat milk for lattes and cappuccinos. They’ve also added free drinks and snacks in the front lobby. It was lovely to sit there with a glass of wine and relax. Reception and all the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. I’d absolutely recommend it and would stay again if I’m back in Amsterdam.

The rooms run a little small, but they’re fine for sleeping after a day exploring. Breakfast had just what you need: eggs, bacon, sausages, cold cuts, and cereal. There’s also a free minibar at reception with soft drinks, coffee, wine, and light snacks for guests. A great hotel right in the heart of Amsterdam, just a flat five-minute walk from Central station. I’d definitely recommend it.

This is such a cozy, charming hotel in a fantastic spot, and it really spoiled us. We loved the breakfast and coffee machine, and it was a lovely touch to have refreshments available to guests. Thanks for a great stay.

The reception team were incredibly courteous, the rooms classy and cozy, and breakfast was great. The hotel was spotless and the team was top-notch. One of the most welcoming places in Amsterdam. I had a superb stay, book it without a second thought!
