It’s a tiny, clean room for travelers, and nothing was broken. I wouldn’t call it a big, comfortable five-star hotel. That’s just what it is. My low rating comes from the noise. At 8am, the person next door checked out, and housekeeping immediately started cleaning and vacuuming. The walls are incredibly thin and the doors block almost no sound. I was wide awake on vacation, listening to the loud vacuum, banging, and staff talking right outside my door instead of sleeping in. They get five stars for prompt cleaning and service, but one for the annoyance.

We had the best hotel experience ever in Amsterdam. The location was excellent, and the room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided every day. Thank you for having us. I enjoyed the stay even more than I expected.

This place suited our needs well. It’s central and easy to get around from, and the room was small but comfortable, with everything we needed. The Dutch stairs were intimidating, but we got our luggage up and down safely. We felt secure during our stay, and the staff were very friendly.

After our trip around Europe, we finished here and found the hotel clean and safe, with great air-conditioning. The rooms were clean and, though small by US standards, felt comfortable. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and the stairs are the usual steep, narrow Dutch kind.

The room was lovely, and being so close to the station made the location especially convenient. We had a double bed on the third floor. I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. The stairs are steep, so heavy luggage could be a struggle. You have to hand in the large room key whenever you go out, which felt unusual, though they said it was for fire safety. With someone at reception around the clock, that was never an issue. For central Amsterdam, it was a great hotel at a fair price. I'd recommend it.
