The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the bar was a nice spot for a quiet drink. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Amsterdam, within walking distance of Central Station and most attractions. A tram passes right by the door, making it easy to get to places like the Museum Quarter. Our room was stylish and comfortable, with everything we needed.

People are what make hotels memorable, and the team at INK is among the very best. During my recent six-night stay, they kindly upgraded me to the Editor in Chief Suite, which was a wonderful surprise. My sincere thanks to Rob, Ms. Valeri, Goreti, Adi, and everyone on the team. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality have made Amsterdam feel like home for the past decade. I’ve stayed at INK Hotel Amsterdam for nearly 10 years, and it’s still one of my favorite hotels anywhere. I travel often as an Accor Platinum member and stay in many hotels, but this place stands out because of its people.

The hotel is small, with no common areas for just hanging out, which future guests should know. That didn’t bother us, and I’d return without hesitation. The building itself was wonderful, and the location made it easy to get around Amsterdam. The staff were the best part: incredibly competent, friendly, and knowledgeable, but also caring, funny, and, I think, loving. After 11 days, we felt like they were family. I think and hope they felt we were a little like family to them too, at least for those few days.

We slept really well: the bed was super comfortable and noise never bothered us. The reception team were friendly, helpful, and happy to chat about the neighborhood. Right in central Amsterdam, the hotel has a fun feel, and the trendy room was practical too. We especially liked the city map mural. The fridge didn’t work, but they brought ice up when we asked.
