Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Centre

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the woman at reception kindly offered me an upgrade. I also found the restaurant recommendations at the front useful as a tourist. I was here for one night on a stopover, and it worked perfectly. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the central station, with easy access around Amsterdam on foot or by tram, even when you’re short on time. I didn’t have a noise problem in my room. One tip: the nearby paths felt a bit shady in the evening, so it may be better to come from the side with the police station. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the city centre.

The staff were awesome, friendly, and extremely helpful. The location was great too, close to Utrecht Centraal Station and an easy walk from a huge mall. Breakfast was good, but there wasn’t much variety. For a Dutch hotel, with the country known for its cheeses, I expected more than two cheese options. The eggs also weren’t kept hot on the serving line. The bathroom was missing basics I’ve found at many other hotels, like Kleenex and lotion. Still, we really enjoyed our stay.

In winter, they let an old cat come inside, and all the guests seemed to enjoy having it around. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially the pretty blonde lady. It’s well placed for walking to the station and Amsterdam’s main sights. Breakfast cost 20 euros, with no smaller option like just coffee and a pastry, so we went to a little cafe on the corner for four days. I also didn’t like that interns are paid 3 euros an hour, which isn’t even enough for a coffee.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location is great. I really liked the place. The bed was a little soft, though, and smoke from outside often made its way into the lobby.
