Kuwadro Guesthouse Jordaan

A great little guest house, with a spacious, quiet room that was comfortable and well equipped. The host was welcoming and sincere.

Breakfast was delivered to the room each morning, with juice, milk, tea, coffee, bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, meat and cheese. There's also a cash machine and a market downstairs. The rooms were clean and nice, and the bathroom was modern. It felt like a good way to live like a local for a few days. The location is just beyond the busy central area, but you can walk to nearly everything. The neighbourhood is pleasant, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The stairs are the usual steep, narrow local kind, and could be a climb for older people.

I love staying here when I visit Amsterdam. The people are friendly and helpful, the neighbourhood is adorable, and the mini fridge comes stocked with tasty food. Parking is cheap at 13 euros, and the train station is within walking distance.

Breakfast in the room came with a table and chairs, and there was enough to eat. The accommodation was good, apart from the extremely steep stairs. It had an espresso machine, kettle, toaster and small bar fridge. There was no cupboard for clothes, just hanging space on a rail. I would have appreciated bath towels in winter.
