We loved having a quiet drink on the deck while boats passed, and ducks came right up to us each morning. Room A was just right, with both blackout and privacy blinds. The bathroom is compact but nice, and the shower was great. The digital key worked smoothly. A lovely spot, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

The dock was a lovely place for morning coffee, with a peaceful river view despite being in the city. We also liked the nearby shops around Cuyp Market, and public transport made it easy to explore Amsterdam. The owners communicated perfectly, and the electronic key was convenient. Studio A matched its website description and photos, and it stayed quiet even if there were neighbors. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room is small, as advertised. That suited my husband and me since we're both under 5'4", but taller guests might find it less comfortable. We stayed for an extended weekend and would highly recommend this unique hotel on the Amstel.

The bed was really comfortable and everything was clean. The room is small, but fine for a couple of nights. I found the key system tricky since I'm not very technical. It rained most of the time, so we couldn't sit out and enjoy the view as much as we'd hoped.

We enjoyed the outdoor space and the view along the river, and the entrance to the property is lovely, with lots of plants and a setup that's friendly to bees and birds. Inside, the double aspect windows make the small room feel bright and airy. We found what we needed, including privacy and blackout blinds, a comfortable bed, a good shower, a small fridge, and a very nice coffee machine with pods. There's a hot tub on a separate deck; I gather you pay for the wood since it's heated by a log fire. The bridge nearby brings traffic noise, but shutting the door kept things quiet enough for us to sleep. Nightlife is about a 30 minute walk, and trams and the metro are around 8 minutes away for getting to sights. The door works through an app you need to install. It worked well, though as a bit of a technophobe I would've found it stressful without my husband helping me set it up. I'm sure the host could explain it ahead of time if you need help. I'd recommend it for one person or two, probably a couple, as it's cozy inside. I'd definitely add it to my list of places to return to in Amsterdam.
