Luna's Hideaway

Lunas Hideaway is a cosy, nicely decorated little flat, with two very comfortable double beds. The location worked perfectly for us: a short walk from the city's main sights, but far enough away to sleep without street noise. Check-in without meeting anyone was really easy. Just be careful with the flat number sign, which hangs high and can point you toward the wrong door. The right one is at street level, not up the stairs 😉. None of our four phones could connect to the Wi-Fi. We didn’t ask the owner about it since we had our own data, and it might be an easy fix. The flat was clean, and I’d gladly recommend it and try to book it again on my next Amsterdam visit 💛💛.

The place was lovely inside and the location was great. For the price, though, it’s a shame there’s no temperature control and the bathroom has some issues.

Everything was very clean, and the location makes it easy to walk to all the tourist sights. There’s a coffee maker and kettle, but no other amenities. A microwave would be useful for heating food. It works fine for four close friends, though there isn’t much privacy.

We couldn’t travel to Amsterdam in February 2022 because my son was hospitalized. After I explained what had happened, they offered us a new date in November, which we accepted. We haven’t heard from them since.
