Max Brown Hotel Canal District, part of Sircle Collection

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Max Brown Hotel. The reception and bar smelled amazing and felt cozy, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Someone even carried my heavy suitcase up to the room without me asking. The room had everything we needed: a shower, toilet, safety deposit box, and a really comfortable bed. It was also very clean, as I'd expect as a cleaner, and good value for money. The only small things I missed were a bedside table and maybe a full-length mirror. I'd gladly come back and recommend it to anyone who wants to be near the centre without being right in the hustle and bustle. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed here in mid-January and had a great view of the canal from our top-floor room. It's a lovely little boutique hotel in a great, central Amsterdam location, close to transport and within walking distance of all the main areas. Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and able to speak English, which was a bonus. I'd definitely stay here again.

The short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station made getting around really easy, and we loved looking out at the canal from our room. We were there for our honeymoon, and the hotel had arranged decorations and a bouquet before we arrived, which made it feel special right away. The staff were warm and helpful, even pointing us in the right direction around the city. We had such a lovely stay and were glad we picked this place.

Room 203 was so close to street level that there was quite a bit of noise from outside. The room was indeed a small double, as the advert said. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a very convenient spot for walking around the centrum. A good stay overall, though next time I’d look for somewhere with more space.
