Miauw Suites

We stayed in the blue suite and had a fantastic view over the canal. The apartment was beautiful, very clean, and had all the amenities needed for a great stay. The owner was lovely and very helpful. The location is great too, close to Ann Frank house and local trams. We'd return again and again.

The location was really nice, with a view of the canal. There was no room service or receptionist, but the girl we spoke to by phone was friendly and helpful. Stroopwafels and nuts were waiting in our room. There's no mirror in the room, which could be a problem for girls. The shower was hot and really good, though its position left the whole toilet area wet. The stairs could be a problem with big luggage.

The Nine Streets neighborhood was perfect, full of little shops and cafes, and Pluk was only a few hundred feet away for breakfast. We had great food there and found fun things for sale too. Waking up to the canal view was amazing, and we explored the city by bike, coming back to the hotel for a break before heading out again. We stayed in the Blue Suite and loved how bright and beautiful it was, just like the photos. The living room had loads of character, with a striking wallpapered wall, huge windows, contemporary furniture, a chandelier, a mini fridge, and even a Mac. Fresh flowers, water, and snacks were waiting for us. The bedroom was great too, with white shabby-looking wood panels on the wall, a very high ceiling, and a super comfy bed. Every window looked out onto the canal or the pretty little street. The suite had a small sink in the bedroom, the only sink there, but that worked fine for the two of us. The bathroom was like a wooden box built into the bedroom, with the shower and toilet inside. We got the toilet area wet while showering, which was the one thing that could've been better. It was my friend's and my first time in Amsterdam, and we wanted somewhere cool and close to everything. I'd seen Miauw Suites online and fallen for the photos and reviews. We arrived at 8:30 am after an early flight, expecting only to leave our luggage, but our super friendly contact Analik was there and the room was already ready. That was such a nice surprise. I'd book this suite again right away. It was just how we'd imagined, and Analik was easy to reach by text or call, which helped a lot.

The views from the corner building were good, and the place was clean and neat in a great location. The circular stairs are very steep and narrow, so they're not suitable for large luggage or anyone with difficulty walking.
