Johan and his little friend, Tiba, made us feel so welcome. Every morning there was a delicious, hearty breakfast in a picnic basket at the door. Our room was cozy and perfectly furnished, with a lovely, calming view of the water from the terrace. It’s the kind of place you fall for right away and want to return to. There are lots of beautiful cycling spots nearby, and getting to Amsterdam city center by tram 2 is easy. Schiphol, Haarlem, and Zandvoort are also easy to reach. Thanks, Johan, we had a wonderful time.

I just love the host, such a nice and friendly man, and he makes a splendid breakfast to suit your needs. The room is quiet, breakfast is great, and the tram connection to the centrum is good. Best place in Amsterdam for everybody. I’ll always come back!

Johan is such a kind, lovely host. He helps wherever he can, and his breakfast is breathtaking. You can feel his loving spirit everywhere. The room was super clean, beautifully put together, and had high class equipment. I don’t hand out five stars often, but this place earned them.
