They gave me recommendations before I arrived, and there were plenty of food options nearby in a safe area. The housekeeping team deserves recognition because my room was very clean, with a beautiful canal view. The staff were so sweet and made me feel welcome right away. If you want a cozy hotel that pays attention to the little details, book Mr. Jordaan. I’ve already recommended it to close friends, and I’ll definitely return.

Our room had idyllic canal views, and they were ready early, which was great after our overnight flight from Canada. The location is perfect, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They also sent lots of recommendations and kept in touch before we arrived by email and What's App. The cozy kitchen and common area had games, books, coffee, tea, cold drinks, and treats throughout the day. A wonderful experience, highly recommended. Six stars if we could.

Mr. Jordaan itself is beautiful, cozy, romantic, charming, and perfectly located. My daughter and I had a wonderful time, and the atmosphere was just what we hoped for in Amsterdam. The room rate, though, was really frustrating. I booked a week ahead for around €500 for a canal view room, then checked two days later and saw the same room for €300. I canceled and rebooked. Two or three days later, at check-in, the rate for that same room had dropped to €200. I understand dynamic pricing, but I expected early booking to be rewarded and last-minute rooms to cost more as availability gets tighter. Paying nearly double what same-day guests paid felt unfair and didn’t match the room’s market value. The lower same-day price seemed much more realistic. My advice is to wait until the same day if you want the best rate at this otherwise lovely hotel.

A warm, welcoming little hotel with really friendly service and a lovely lounge and kitchen area. There’s a good continental breakfast, plus plenty of generous touches: fresh water and coffee all day, sweets, freshly baked pastries and fruit for snacks, and one soda or juice per room each day from the fridge.
