Breakfast was spectacular and delicious, and when a small problem came up with our shower, the staff dealt with it right away and very satisfactorily. The concierge was extremely helpful and knew a lot. There are MANY steep stairs, but the staff carried our luggage up. Our room was sparkling clean, with fresh sunflowers on the mantle, and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the Van Gogh Suite, which has an AMAZING balcony where we sat with tea and other drinks after long days of sightseeing. Museum Suites is walkable to the museum and university area, and a short tram ride from places like Anne Frank House, while still far enough away to be quiet. We stayed in July 2016 and would happily stay again and again.

The Van Gogh suite we stayed in had a balcony, and the staff were informative and suggested places to eat. It was a very nice place, though it can be on the expensive side.

There are great restaurants in the neighborhood, and it was an easy tram ride downtown. We walked there at least three times as well. Great space and a beautiful room.

The boat ride through the canals was the icing on an already delicious cake. Amazing 5* service, highly recommended!

A little gem of a hotel. The rooms are very spacious, the staff are super helpful, and the location is great. The museums and Amsterdam's old town are an easy walk away.
