Supper Hotel

We got a great deal through the Supper Hotel website, and the location couldn't be better, with the tram right outside and everything within walking distance. This is where we'll stay whenever we come to Amsterdam now. The reception looked beautiful, and the receptionist was kind and efficient. Our room was spacious, with a huge bed and a clean, gorgeous bathroom. We were lucky to get a first-floor room, so the stairs weren't an issue at all. Can't wait to come back!

We could walk to anything we wanted, and the tram was just outside. The staff were also totally fine with us sitting on the bench out front for a smoke. Our room felt modern and cool, the bed was so comfy, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful.

We had a lovely stay and want to thank all the staff for being so kind and professional. We had to leave very early this morning, so unfortunately couldn't say goodbye in person. The key to room 201 is on the sink. See you soon. Francesco and Angela from Italy.

The photos make this hotel look stunning, but it wasn't what I found when I got there. After a long day of travel, my room wasn't ready, so I had to wait 35 minutes. They gave me a free drink, but the room I was eventually shown was tiny, dirty, and not the one I'd paid extra for. There was mold in the shower, hair around it, and fingerprints on the shower window. I took photos. Across from my window, a woman was shopping and smiling toward me, which made both of us uncomfortable. We had to keep the curtain shut, leaving the room much darker. The receptionist deeply apologized when I said how unhappy I was, and said we could move to the room we'd originally booked the next day, since it was booked, and that we'd get free breakfast as an apology. Breakfast was a joke compared with the picture. It was served in the reception area, with no separate restaurant space, and was listed at €19:95. Even though it was free, after seeing another customer complain and get the same offer, it felt like an easy way out. I wouldn't have paid that much for what they served. The TV/projector was a joke too, with only one working channel. After half past nine there was no one at reception, and we had to go next door to ask for help. There weren't even facilities in the room to make a nice morning cup. I'm deeply disappointed and wouldn't return or recommend it to anyone.
