The Toren Amsterdam by The Pavilions

We had a tasty breakfast each morning, which was a great start to the day. The Toren is charming, and the staff were kind and accommodating. Our room, number 228, was small, though we expected that after staying in Europe before. The location worked perfectly for what we wanted to do in Amsterdam. We’d stay here again, 10/10.

It’s the customer service that keeps bringing us back. This was our second stay at The Toren, and everyone made us feel welcome and appreciated, from check-in and check-out to the bartenders, maintenance staff, and manager Michel. The drinks were great too. We first visited over the holidays, when the decorations were stunning, and I fell in love with the place. The hotel itself is beautiful and charming, the location is perfect, the beds are super comfortable, and the Jacuzzi tubs are so relaxing. We can’t wait to return. It’s the only place we’ll stay when we’re in Amsterdam.

We stayed in the executive suite for four days. It was spacious and could have been very quiet, but the jacuzzi made intermittent noises that sounded like construction next door. It may have been connected to the recent hot water work, though the noise continued throughout our stay. Bring earplugs.

On our first trip to Amsterdam, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was really impressed. My husband had told the hotel staff we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and we found balloons and chocolates waiting in the room. Such a lovely surprise. The breakfast was top notch, the location was perfect, and the staff answered our questions and gave us great food and tour recommendations. Thanks to everyone at the Toren for making the stay unforgettable.
