Mornings by the water are lovely, with swans visiting and locals regularly passing on paddleboards. The canal view is special, though technically it’s more like an artificial lake. There are also great restaurants nearby and long waterfront paths that are perfect for morning walks. If you want somewhere peaceful to unwind in Amsterdam, this is a great choice.

I love this quaint, cozy studio. There’s a little patio right on the water where you can relax and watch the ducks or go paddling. Restaurants, a grocery store, and other conveniences are nearby. A tram right at the doorstep makes it easy to get to the center, just tap your phone or card on and off. Our lovely host met us there and left thoughtful gifts, including drinks, in the apartment. I highly recommend it and will be back 🇨🇦

The balcony was easily the best part, and we spent most of our time there. We also had a great time using the canoe, which is free to use. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed; it looks much better in person than in the photos. The shower was amazing and the bed really comfortable. Tamara was helpful, and check-in was quick. The location is good too, about 15 minutes from Central Station by tram. We’d definitely try to book Water Studio again if we return to Amsterdam.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here three times, and I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else when we go to the dam. It’s such a chilled, relaxing place. Hearing the ducks and bats at night is really cool. The area is cute, and the tram ride into the city takes only 12 minutes. It’s ideal when you want to get away from the city bustle and come back somewhere calm.

The owners were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. They let us check in and out early, and the communication was great. They’ve thought of everything to make the stay fantastic. The views are beautiful and the bed was amazing. It’s outside the city center, but trams are always around and reasonably priced, with shops and restaurants nearby. We’ve found a little gem and will definitely stay again.
