The festive brunch was worth the money, with a huge choice of hot and cold breakfast dishes and loads of homemade smoothies and juices. The baked goods tasted super fresh and delicious, especially the raspberry and chocolate croissants. If I had to pick a small criticism, though I'm really scraping for one, I wasn't expecting a standard automatic coffee machine. I thought there might be a coffee menu to order from.

The room was clean, but the pool and wellness area badly needed a deeper clean. I judge hotels by cleanliness and how well I sleep, and I usually feel reassured when I see a box spring because I know those are good. That wasn't the case here. My wife and I both had the worst back pain ever after just one night. Even in bad hotels that usually takes a few nights. There was no noise blocking from the hallway, and every now and then there was a hiss, like steam being released.

The rooms and breakfast were very good, and the pool, small sauna, and hammam were included. We were missing slippers and a bathrobe, which other Van der Valk hotels usually provide. The elevator was a bit annoying, and the outside lights on the balcony on the 6th floor weren't great. Still, we had a nice time at van der valk Oostzaan 👍

We've eaten at this restaurant before, and it was a pleasant visit again. The food was delicious and nicely presented, the place looked beautiful and well kept, and the friendly staff made it feel welcoming. Definitely somewhere worth returning to.

I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to try the other amenities. The room was spacious and had a jacuzzi, and breakfast was delicious with a good variety of dishes.
