This was a horrible stay. We came back to the room with alcohol and smoked a small cigarette inside, even though smoking was forbidden. The owner, David, knocked on the door. When I opened it, he and a friend pushed their way into the room while we were half dressed. Then he made us leave in the middle of a cold winter night. It was a really awful experience.

The view was lovely, and the room felt private and safe in a perfect location. I was very happy with what we got for the price: a comfortable bed, great shower, tea facilities, a decent sized fridge, and lots of useful extras like pillows, blankets, heating, air conditioning, and plug adapters. David checked in to see if we were all right or needed more towels. I'd happily stay again.

It's easy to get around from here, with the Red light district nearby and Amsterdam Centraal station within walking distance. The room was fine, and there were lots of different plugs ready, plus plenty of tea. We stayed three nights, though, and the towels weren't replaced. There were no slippers or bathroom mat either.

Great atmosphere, useful amenities, and an easy way to get into Amsterdam. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

David was a terrific host, and I had everything I needed in the apartment. It was spacious, private, with a lovely view and a great bathroom. Amsterdam central is only a couple of minutes away on foot, and Dam square took about ten minutes. Thanks, David. I'll be back.
