The kids had plenty to do, with a pool and fun interactive activities, and we had a great time as a family. The Easter event inside a real Boeing was a real highlight: the children got a short tour followed by an egg hunt, which made for a memorable visit. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a kitchen. There’s also a restaurant and rooftop bar. It’s handy for visiting Amsterdam and the surrounding area, and easy to drive to the tulip gardens, saanstat, and the nord sea. Amazing hotel for a family stay. Highly recommend!

It’s been over a day since the hotel replied, and I still haven’t heard anything further. If you saw their response and wondered whether this was a normal business, it wasn’t. What happened below is exactly how I described it. I prepaid for two rooms, but when we arrived the front desk could find only one under my name. We waited nearly two hours before they located the booking and gave us both rooms. The stay itself was mediocre, and one room had an ant infestation. Since then, I’ve received only one refund for the two €100 hold charges, while nearly €600 in two other charges remains on my card. I’ve called and emailed, but after more than a week there’s still been no reply. Absolutely unacceptable service. Do not book this hotel.

We came back to Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel for Christmas after enjoying our first stay. The breakfast and dinner buffets at Corendon All You Can Eat Restaurant were delicious, with plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians. Dinner entertainment was nice too. The same trumpet-playing singer from last year’s Caribbean Christmas dinner at Mondi Restaurant New-West at the Corendon Amsterdam New-West Hotel performed again. He was a good entertainer, and I think he recognized us. A Polish lady dressed for Christmas took personal Polaroids for guests to take home, and the dinner cook was lovely, checking that everything was all right and asking for feedback. I shared mine on the spot. We also went to the movie theater again and, since we were the only ones there, it felt like a private party lol. Staff were nice as before. Special thanks to the new employee of Moroccan descent who was working her first day on Dec 25, 2025. She was very helpful. The main thing to improve is phone communication. We couldn’t reach the hotel in December or January.

The bed made it hard to get proper rest, and the food lacked both variety and quality, so the stay didn’t meet my expectations. Basic things were missing too: no single-use essentials were provided, and I had to ask more than once to get something as simple as crisps. The toiletries weren’t kept up either, since the shower gel hadn’t been refilled. I hope they use this feedback to improve the service.
