You can hear almost every sound from the other rooms, and the shower is cramped with no room to move. There isn't a wardrobe either. The location is the hotel's one advantage. To me, this feels closer to a hostel or private accommodation than a hotel. The price isn't much lower than hotels on the beach with a sea view and a much higher standard. I absolutely don't recommend it, especially to anyone visiting the area for the first time.

The old house has charm, and it's well placed near the beach. But the room fell short: there was hair in the bath, on the sink and on the pillows, and the sheet was too small for the mattress. Its fabric scratched, too. The lock is a joke, breakfast was nonexistent, the WiFi didn't work and the TV was broken. It's a shame, given the place's potential. The room might work for a functional trip if it were better looked after.

The owner was nice and shared useful tips about the area. The rooms were tidy, and getting here from the train station on public transport was easy. It's close to both the beach and the city center. The price seemed fair, though you might find better deals elsewhere in the city if you look more closely. Just an okay hotel.

We even asked if we could extend our stay. The owner was pleasant, the rooms were clean, and the location was great. A really good place to stay.
